Orientation Day ( 26 March ’10)

The new parents of our fraternity discovered the sounds & melodies that echo in the Goenkan Valley on the day of the Orientation. An insight into the Goenkan ideology & vision was provided to the parents. The key idea was to lessen the apprehensions of the parents and to acquaint them with the Goenkan process.

First day in school ( 27 March ’10)

The Goenkan shore welcomed the arrival of the fresh ripples to its coast. The darling buds of our extended family were embraced with love & warmth. The day offered a taste of the fun-filled activities that the Goenkans will experience in the years ahead.

Spring  Symphony ( 27 March ’10)

“Spring Symphony” was a melodious endeavor taken up by the young Goenkans in an effort to welcome the King of seasons – SPRING. It was a concert infusing both the Western and Indian forms of music & dance. The lovely performance by the students was a feast for the human soul. The tastefully selected items, costumes and presentations drew whole hearted applauses from the parent fraternity.

The vibrant harvest festival – Baisakhi ( 13 April ’10)

The colourful harvest festival of Punjab was celebrated with a mood of merriment and gaiety. Dressed in traditional Punjabi outfits, the Goenkans stole the show with their energetic performances. The depiction of Punjabi culture & the story behind the origin of Baisakhi were the major highlights of the celebrations.

Earth Day ( 22 April '10)

The cool firmaments of a new dawn brought along with it the Earth Day celebrations at the school on 22 April’10. The little toddlers translated their feelings for the Mother earth into action-packed performances, sensitizing the entire sundry on the issues bordering on environment.

Baby’s Day Out (30 April '10)

In a world that’s brand new, babies had much to do. Laughing, tasting, touching, reaching high and making memories – were the ingredients of the exciting Baby’s Day Out, which was organized by the school for the little ones on 30 April’10.

Labour Day (3 May’10)

The Goenkans celebrated the historic day that commemorates the huge contributions the workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our nation. Paying tribute the labour force of the school, the Goenkans presented a special assembly using tools like wipers and brooms as props. It was further protracted into fruitful discussions in the classroom.

Rain dance (7 May’10) 

Going beyond the confines of the classroom, the toddlers of the Goenka splashed, splurged and slipped into some splendorous moments during the Rain Dance. Like the butterfly’s erratic flight, they swayed with the music of the rain and thrilled their souls with unbound fun.

Environment Day (13 July’10) 

It was nothing short of a moving spectacle to see the little Goenkans don the role of responsible custodians of Mother Earth on the occasion of Environment Day. Very basic experiments and activities were conducted in the class and the children were sensitized to the planet and the menace that looks us right between the eyes.

Mango Day (16 July’10)  

This day was chosen by the Goenkans to give the fruit just the attention it deserves. Colouring, crfating and eating the fruit right, Mango Day brought in the multihued and undisputed king of fruits to the premises.

Ice Cream Day (20 July’10)

When you get the urge for a snack on a hot, humid summer day, the first thing that comes to our mind is Ice Cream. Therefore, it's only fitting that ice cream be given its own special day and the Goenkans celebrated it with refreshing spirits.

Pool bash (23 July’10)

An event of absolute delight in the scorching sun, Pool Bash brought in unlimited fun and frolic for the Goenkans. Power driven tiny tots  splashed, splurged and indulged in various games and activities planned for them. 

Friendship Day (2 Aug’10)

Richer than chocolates and sweeter than the ice creams… the sweetener of human life is the bond of friendship. Garnering instances from societies and communities, Friendship Day was celebrated by the tender hearts to forge bonds. 

Independence Day (13 Aug’10)

GDGPS Rohini celebrated 63 years of Indian independence in a moving cultural presentation. The students collaborated in a series of arresting song and dance performances.
